Ime Udoka Assembles Impressive Coaching Staff for Boston Celtics
Assistant Coaches Announced
Will Hardy to Serve as Lead Assistant
The Boston Celtics have named their highly anticipated coaching staff, led by head coach Ime Udoka. Will Hardy, Damon Stoudamire, Ben Sullivan, Joe Mazzulla, Aaron Miles, and Anthony Dobbins will serve as assistant coaches, providing Udoka with a diverse and experienced group of assistants.
Hardy, who spent the past eight seasons as an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs, will take over as the Celtics' lead assistant. He is known for his defensive acumen and player development skills, having worked closely with All-Star forward Kawhi Leonard during his time in San Antonio.
Veteran Assistance and Fresh Perspectives
Stoudamire brings a wealth of NBA experience to the staff, having played 14 seasons in the league. He has transitioned into coaching roles in recent years, serving as an assistant for the Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks.
Sullivan, Mazzulla, Miles, and Dobbins are all former players who bring fresh perspectives to the coaching staff. Sullivan spent time as a player development coach for the Golden State Warriors, while Mazzulla had a successful playing career in Italy and served as an assistant for the Maine Red Claws. Miles is a former NBA player who has previously worked as an assistant coach for the Washington Wizards and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With a mix of veteran experience and rising stars, Udoka's coaching staff is expected to provide a strong foundation for the Celtics as they aim to contend for an NBA championship.
