DONE DEAL: Frank delighted Brentford won Meghoma race

Brentford boss Thomas Frank has revealed his delight after the club completed the signing of midfielder Frank Onyeka from FC Midtjylland.

Onyeka has signed a five-year contract with the Bees, and Frank believes he will be a valuable addition to his squad.

Frank said: "I am very happy that we have been able to sign Frank. He is a very talented player with a bright future. He is a box-to-box midfielder who is good at winning the ball back and can also create chances for others. I am sure he will be a great addition to our squad."

The 23-year-old has been a key player for Midtjylland in recent seasons, helping the club win the Danish Superliga title in 2020. He has also represented Nigeria at international level.

Frank is confident that Onyeka can make a similar impact at Brentford.

He said: "Frank is a player who can make a difference for us. He is a very good all-round midfielder who can do a bit of everything. I am sure he will be a valuable asset to our team."

Onyeka is Brentford's second signing of the summer, following the arrival of goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha from Lazio.
