Robin Roberts Returning As Emmy Awards Primetime Host & Red Carpet Pre-Show

ABC’s Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts will host the 2023 Primetime Emmy Awards and its red-carpet pre-show, Live From the Red Carpet, with Will Reeve.

Emmy Awards Host & Pre-Show Details

Roberts will helm the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, September 18th, on NBC and streaming on Peacock. The pre-show will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, followed by the awards ceremony at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Roberts has hosted the Emmys four previous times, including last year’s ceremony. Reeve, co-anchor of GMA3: What You Need To Know and ABC News correspondent, will join Roberts on the red carpet. This will be Reeve’s second time co-hosting the Emmy red-carpet pre-show. This year's Emmys will honor the best in television programming from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. Nominations for the 2023 Emmy Awards will be announced on July 12th.

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards will be produced by Done+Dusted and Hudlin Entertainment. Reginald Hudlin and Ian Stewart will serve as executive producers, with Hamish Hamilton directing.

The Television Academy’s 40,000-plus members vote on the Emmy Awards.
